CTO

CTO stands for Chief Technology Officer. This is a senior-level executive who is responsible for the company’s overall technology strategy, as well as the development and implementation of technology initiatives. The CTO is responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and support of the company’s technology infrastructure, and for ensuring that the technology used is up-to-date and secure.

Fractional CTO

Fractional CTO (Chief Technology Officer) is a business model where a company hires an experienced technology expert to join the team on a part-time basis. This can be a great way for companies to gain experienced tech leadership without the need to commit to a full-time hire. Fractional CTOs provide high-level technology guidance and mentorship, and help companies to develop and implement technology strategies and plans to achieve their business goals.

MVP

MVP technology strategy is a business strategy that involves developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in order to quickly bring a new product to market. An MVP is a version of a product that has the minimum features and functionality necessary to test it with users and gather feedback. By using an MVP technology strategy, companies can quickly test and validate their product ideas and make adjustments before investing heavily in development.

PM

PM stands for Product Management or Project Management. In business, Project Management refers to the process of managing a project from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resources, communication, and execution.  By comparison, Product Management encompasses the conception, development, delivery, market placement, and pricing of products.

POC

POC stands for Proof-of-Concept and it is used to describe a project or experiment that is used to test the feasibility of a design or idea. It is an important part of the business cycle, as it helps decision-makers to assess the potential of an idea or product before investing resources in it.

Technology Strategist

A Technology Strategist is a professional who specializes in developing and implementing specific strategies for using technology to achieve business objectives. They are typically responsible for assessing current and future technological needs, developing strategies for meeting those needs, and managing the implementation of those strategies. Technology Strategists are often involved in researching emerging technologies and their potential applications, as well as developing plans for integrating new and existing technologies in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
